I’m trying to import my terrain mesh into Virtual CRASH, but when I import my dxf file, parts of the terrain are missing. What’s going on? Is it possible add additional sections to my mesh?
Usually if portions of your imported mesh appear to be missing, it's an indication that some of your surface normal vectors are pointing the wrong way, and so those polygon faces will be transparent. This is easy to fix. In the video below, we walk you through the process of aligning the z-component of the surface normal vectors, and we demonstrate how a plane object can be used to patch or extend a terrain mesh.
